The Mastic Peninsula Historical Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the history and heritage of the Moriches, Mastic, Mastic Beach, and Shirley communities on Long Island’s South Shore. It engages the public through local history collections, educational programs, and community projects and maintains a schedule of meetings and events to involve residents and researchers alike.
