Down East Civic Engagement Corps (DECEC) is a nonprofit in Eastern North Carolina piloting relational organizing to build civic capacity through trusted community ambassadors and lightweight technology. Supported by Goodnation and Hub3, DECEC focuses on empowering historically underrepresented communities during the 2025 municipal elections and beyond, with a focus on sustainable, community-driven engagement.
