Every day, thousands of new websites are launched—local businesses, amazing new technology projects, community events, and great new products. We’re building a place where people who are interested in cool new projects, want to discover new businesses in their area, or want to keep up with new products can quickly see the freshest launches from around the world.
We want to ensure a great experience for people looking for new websites, while also helping those who have just launched their websites attract potential customers, get instant feedback on their business, product, blog, or idea, and spread the word about their launch.
We’re still in the early stages and working to improve the system to ensure broad coverage. At present, we’re only showing launched sites in English. We plan to expand to all languages soon.
Goals moving forward
- Ensure website content is high-quality and launch-ready before featuring it.
- Ensure correct classification/taxonomy so potential customers can find what they care about.
- Gather reviews and customer feedback (e.g., upvotes/downvotes and comments).
- Provide quick ways to bookmark/save interesting websites.
- Remove low-quality or spam sites and bad actors.
Our Team
Website Launches was started in September 2025 by software engineer Taylor Hawkes, and the team is still small - quite small (but hopeful growing soon).
Taylor Hawkes
Taylor is a long time software developer/engineer - he has been coding away at various projects for over 20 years. He previously founded RingRoost (a telecommunications platform for small businesses), then more recently Grepper - (a code sharing platform for software developers). And now he is going ham to get Website Launches up and running…
Taylor likes to spend his free time programming, but sense he is married with two young kids he has to do other stuff too - so he also enjoys spending time with his wife & kids, rock climbing, rolling jiu jitsu, playing piano, losing at chess, getting trashed talked by 12 years olds in StarCraft2, watching Larry David, Cold plunging and generally following the Joe Rogan fitness lifestyle …
